»Microsoft Virtual Desktop (VLAB)
VLAB allows you to access an array of campus-wide site-licensed software applications, such as SPSS and ChemDraw, amongst other applications, via a virtual environment with your Chapman credentials.
For ease of access, VLAB is available as a Windows App for a more enhanced user experience.

Installing VLAB for MAC
- Navigate to https://vlab.chapman.edu.
- In the Client options, find your OS and click Download.

- On the next screen, select Open App Store app. Note: When the App Store launches, click the cloud icon to download Windows App. The App Store may ask for your Apple ID email and password.


- When the download is complete, click on Open to launch the application.

- After the Windows App launches, click the + sign in the top right corner and select Add Workspace.

- Type your Chapman University email and click Add.

- On the next screen, type your Chapman University email again and click Next.

- After a few moments, Lab Desktop will appear below the Lab Workspace tab. Click on it to launch the virtual space. Please note that the wallpaper color, image,
or theme may differ from what appears in the instructions on this page, but the functionality
will be the same.

Important Note: After installing the Windows App, it will be available in the Applications folder.
Installing VLAB for Windows
- Navigate to https://vlab.chapman.edu.
- In the Client options, find your operating system and click Download. When the Windows App appears, select download.


3. Go to your Downloads folder and run the installer for Windows App, or launch and open the installer in your browser's downloads window.
4. When the Windows App launches, click on Sign in.
5. On the next screen, type your Chapman University email to sign in.
6. On the Welcome to Windows App screen, click Skip.
7. After a few moments, Lab Desktop will appear below the devices. Click on Connect to launch the virtual space. Please note that the wallpaper color, image, or theme may differ from what appears in the instructions on this page, but the functionality will be the same.
