VMware Horizon VLAB allows you to access an array of campus-wide site-licensed software applications such as SPSS, ChemDraw, amongst other applications via a virtual environment with your Chapman credentials.

For ease of access, VMware Horizon VLAB provides two methods of accessing the campus-wide site-licensed software applications, via HTML Access, or by installing the VMware Horizon Client for a much more enhanced user experience.

Chapman University-owned computer

How To Get a Copy

1. Visit vlab.chapman.edu in a web browser. Click the “VMware Horizon HTML Access” link.

2. Type in your Chapman University username and password, then Click "Login."

3. All done - you can now access all the listed software in a virtual environment.

1. Visit vlab.chapman.edu in a web browser. Click the “Install VMware Horizon Client” link.

2. Download and run the installer.

3. If prompted to restart your computer, please choose Restart Now.

4. Launch the VMware Horizon Client on your computer (MAC illustration)

5. Click Add Server. In the dialog box, type vlab.chapman.edu and click Connect.

6. In the Login box, enter your username and password. Click login.

7. All done – you can now access all the listed software in a virtual environment.

2. Download and run the installer.
a. The install varies depending on whether you are on PC or Mac.   The PC procedure is included below.
b. (PC example follows) Click the Agree & Install button.

3. If prompted to restart your computer, please choose Restart Now.

4. Launch the VMware Horizon Client on your computer. (PC illustration)

5. Click Add Server. In the dialog box, type vlab.chapman.edu and click Connect.

6. In the Login box, enter your email address and password. Click Login.

7. All done – you can now access all the listed software in a virtual environment.
