Once logged in, you can use Handshake to:

• Schedule in-person or virtual career appointments
• Search for jobs (full-time, part-time, internship, entry-level to advanced roles alike)
• Access additional career resources and portals
• Find and sign up for career events
• Research employers

Chapman's career portal, Handshake uses your unique Chapman email address and password. For example, pete@chapman.edu or pete@mail.chapman.edu

If you do not have access to your Chapman username/login, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to www.chapman.joinhandshake.com.

2. Click “Sign up here” in the upper right corner.

3. Select Student/Alumni and enter your personal details.

4. Click “create account.”

5. We’ll review your request and activate your account within five business days. 

6. Start Exploring! Once your account is activated, you can access Handshake on-the-go by downloading the app (available on Apple and Android).

Many Handshake questions can be answered via a quick search on Handshake’s Student/Alumni Help Center.
