CUSP Student Resources

Alumni Mentorship Program
Interested in mentoring the next generation of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences
professionals?
The CUSP Alumni Mentorship Program connects alumni with graduating Pharm.D., M.S.,
and Ph.D. students, providing an opportunity to share your experiences, offer career
guidance, and support students as they transition from graduate education into their
professional careers.

Overview
Through mentorship, networking, and shared experiences, the program aims to foster meaningful connections within the CUSP community while supporting students in navigating career opportunities, professional growth, and the evolving world of pharmacy and healthcare.
Mentors will serve as a resource for students by offering guidance on career paths, professional development, work-life balance, networking, and life after graduation.
The program also provides an opportunity for alumni to stay engaged with CUSP and help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Eligibility
Mentees: Open to class of 2027 Pharm.D., M.S., and Ph.D. students
Commitment and Expectations
Monthly Discussion Topics: A low-stakes discussion prompt will be sent each month to help guide conversations and encourage meaningful connection.
No Assignments: There are no required submissions, homework, or progress reports. Monthly topics are optional conversation starters.
Mentee Initiative: Mentees are encouraged to take the lead in reaching out to their mentor to maintain communication throughout the program.
