Overview

The CUSP Alumni Mentorship Program is a year-long initiative designed to connect alumni with final-year Pharm.D., M.S., and Ph.D. students as they prepare for the transition from student life into their professional careers.

Through mentorship, networking, and shared experiences, the program aims to foster meaningful connections within the CUSP community while supporting students in navigating career opportunities, professional growth, and the evolving world of pharmacy and healthcare.

Mentors will serve as a resource for students by offering guidance on career paths, professional development, work-life balance, networking, and life after graduation.

The program also provides an opportunity for alumni to stay engaged with CUSP and help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Eligibility

Mentors: Open to all CUSP alumni

Mentees: Open to class of 2027 Pharm.D., M.S., and Ph.D. students

Commitment and Expectations

Program Commitment: August 2026 to May 2027

Monthly Discussion Topics:
A low-stakes discussion prompt will be sent each month to help guide conversations and encourage meaningful connection.

No Assignments:
There are no required submissions, homework, or progress reports. Monthly topics are optional conversation starters.

Mentee Initiative:
Mentees are encouraged to take the lead in reaching out to their mentor to maintain communication throughout the program.
