» Post Graduate Training Programs

Chapman University School of Pharmacy postgraduate training programs are designed to prepare PharmD scholars for exceptional careers in the profession of pharmacy. The residency and fellowship opportunities through Chapman offer a broad range of experiences through combined instruction, mentoring, and hands-on skill development.

These comprehensive learning experiences are offered in a range of care settings and specialties, including geriatric and ambulatory care, and offer teaching certificates for further in-depth and comprehensive training. Chapman and our partners are proud to offer competitive stipends, benefits, and paid holidays to those enrolled in the postgraduate training programs through Chapman.

School of Pharmacy Honored for Collaborative Residency Program

CUSP and two partners received the “Healthcare Collaboration of the Year” award by the Greater Irvine Chamber's Excellence in Healthcare gala.

"This win is very exciting for us at Chapman, as well as for our collaborators at SCAN and Providence Medical Foundation, as this is the first PGY-1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency program for the three organizations," says Dr. Lewis.

CUSP Students' Residency and Fellowship Match Success

2023-2024 residency and fellowship match results have been a resounding success! CUSP had a 81% ASHP PGY-1 residency match rate, tying for 3rd in the state, and representing 26 students from our graduating PharmD class and 4 alumni. In addition, 9 students matched to a PGY-2 residency, 4 students obtained a fellowship, and 2 students matched to an unaccredited managed care residency.
