Off-Campus Housing Communities
Currently, there is no official Chapman student housing near CUSP.
To assist students in their housing search, Chapman has a few resources to connect students to nearby residential spaces and to connect them with potential housemates who are also studying at the Rinker campus.
Once committed to Chapman Pharmacy, students can access the Rinker housing Discord to find housemates and other community-based services, like carpooling schedules. To get access to this link, please use your Chapman-provided student email to contact Luke at oaconnell@chapman.edu

Homestay Housing
Homestay is an option for Rinker Campus graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and visiting scholars looking for affordable housing in the area around the Irvine campus.
With a homestay arrangement, you will live with a local family and experience an American family lifestyle. International students will have an opportunity to practice their English skills on a daily basis. Students and scholars should evaluate the various options when choosing a homestay experience. Choices include having your own room or sharing a room if applying with a friend, choosing to eat some or all of your meals with your host family, or taking care of all of your own meals. Prices vary according to the services provided.
Benefits of a Homestay for Rinker Campus Students and Scholars:
- Private room (shared restroom) in a home within the local area
- Guaranteed placement within a 60-minute public bus ride to the Rinker Campus
- Fully furnished room including all utilities, internet access, and bed and bath linens
If you are interested, you can learn more about the WISE Homestay Program, or apply by contacting Ms. Susan Antonovits via email at: susan@wisefoundation.com for an application packet. Please specify if you are a legal resident or international student/fellow when contacting WISE. WISE can be found online at http://www.wisefoundation.com.
