How you can help:

We have identified three areas where donations have the most impact.

CHAPMAN FUND
For unrestricted student scholarships and campus-wide immediate needs.

FINANCIAL AID AND OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS
Families who wish to provide multi-year gifts or gifts to a specific school or college may consider this avenue for their philanthropic support. Chapman Family members who donate through grants or corporate giving, or are considering a planned/legacy gift, might consider this as a lasting investment in our students. Gifts will help provide:

  • Unrestricted immediate need scholarships
  • Directed scholarships to support students in a particular field of study
  • Annual support of scholarships for "Full 4 Years of College"
  • Sustained long-term assistance for student scholarships

FORGING AHEAD TO A BRIGHT FUTURE CAMPAIGN
The pandemic forced us to think, adapt and behave in new ways. While the year had its challenges, one bright spot included the strength and resilience shown by our Chapman family members. In fact, because of our Chapman family, we can proudly declare that we have emerged stronger than before.

It is fortitude that strengthens our resolve to continue to Forge Ahead to a Bright Future. When you make an investment toward our future you can:

  • Ensure that our students have world-class programs and facilities (Rinker Campus, Fowler School of Engineering, Dance Studio).
  • Fund the priorities outlined by the deans of every school and college (Strategic Plan initiatives).
  • Ensure a strong, visionary future through endowment and legacy gifts.

THE CARES ACT: Important provisions related to your 2021 charitable giving
If you make your gift to Chapman before the end of December, you can receive a $300 automatic deduction on your 2021 taxes, a one-year extension of a special provision in 2020. This is especially helpful for those who do not itemize their deductions. If you generally itemize your giving, you can receive a tax deduction for the full amount of your gift with some rules.
