Here are some key components that you should be considering as you get ready to land the job or internship of your dreams!


Chapman's Career Portal, Handshake is where you schedule career coaching appointments, search for jobs and internships, network with fellow students, explore and register for events, and access additional resources.

Career Workshops

A variety of topics ranging from resume development to LinkedIn, networking, industry and more are covered in free, on-campus and virtual career workshops throughout the semester.

Vault Career Resources

Vault is best known for its influential rankings, ratings, and reviews on thousands of top employers and hundreds of internship programs. Additionally, it is a valuable tool to research background information and access guidebooks about companies, schools, internships, and industries. It also includes an exclusive job board, career advice blog, articles and more.

LinkedIn Learning (fmr. Lynda)

Lynda.com, now "LinkedIn Learning", is the leading provider of online software training videos, with on-demand access to videos on software, digital design, digital media techniques, and more. But it's not just for the tech-savvy. Straightforward and easy-to-follow training can help anyone learn, master, and apply digital tools and techniques, from the digital novice all the way to the seasoned pro.


Whether you're looking for job or internship opportunities, GoinGlobal is your one-stop shop for expert knowledge on the global job market. Their database includes over 80,000 pages of content curated by local industry experts, providing country-specific career and internship resources for students and professionals interested in working domestically or internationally.


InterviewStream is the leading interview preparation software complete with interview tips, resources, and questions, coupled with the ability for you to record, review and share your practice interviews. With over 7,000 pre-recorded questions, you can craft the perfect mock interview that will help you land a dream job, navigate post-grad interviews and polish your communication skills.

Panther Workwear

Panther Workwear is a program at Chapman University that provides students and alumni with one free professional outfit (to keep!) through our partnership with WHW. There are no restrictions, qualifications, or requirements regarding major, graduation year, age, socio-economic status, etc. All Panthers are welcome to use this free service.

Business Journals

Local business journals are a fantastic tool for researching companies and industries, especially if you are considering relocation. Pay special attention to annual "Lists" that are released, as they are often the most useful and concise tool for evaluating regional company growth, specialties and strengths on an industry-level.

iGrad Financial Literacy

You got the job, now what do you do with your money? Chapman's Office of Financial Aid is proud to offer free access to iGrad for all students, alumni, staff and faculty. The platform allows you to set financial goals and review short articles, videos and games to improve their knowledge. iGrad also has extensive information about resume writing, career planning, and searching for scholarships.
