Career House Fall 2025 Drop-In Hours Schedule

Career House Drop-ins for Fall 2025 are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. from the week of August 25 through December 5. The last call for drop-ins is 11:50 a.m. Come visit us at the Career House for an In-Person Drop-In or join us virtually using the link below!

Cancellations: Drop-ins are cancelled during the Fall Career Fair (Sept 25) and Thanksgiving break week (Nov 26, 27) 

*Note that you will be required to sign into Zoom with your Chapman SSO account login to access the virtual room. Virtual drop-ins are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, one at a time from the waiting room. For more information about accessing your Chapman zoom account, visit IS&T's Zoom website.

What are Drop-Ins?

Drop-ins are a way for students to get career advice without making an appointment. They are intended for quick, 15-minute career conversations and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're just beginning your career journey (or if you just have a quick question about our office!) drop-ins are a great way to start.

Fellow Panther Peer Career Advisors can help you with a variety of topics and tasks, including:

• Review career services and resources
• Handshake tips and tricks
• Resume review
• Cover letter review
• LinkedIn review
• Job and internship search
• Career Fair or networking event preparation
• Writing thank-you, acceptance or declination letters

For more advanced career conversations, we encourage you to make a career appointment. These 30-45 minute appointments include drop in career topics and beyond.  

Topics include:

• Networking and Informational Interviewing 

• Interview Prep 

• Mock Interviews 

• Grad School preparation

Who can I make an appointment with?  

Your Cross-Campus Career Team includes a central, university-wide Career and Professional Development Office and College/School-Specific Career Advisors. While the Career and Professional Development Office offers more general career support, your College/School Specific Career Advisor(s) are here to answer your industry specific career questions.You can make a career appointment with a general Career Advisor, College Career Advisor or a Peer Career Advisor. 

How do I make an appointment? 

Schedule an appointment on Handshake. Log in with your Chapman SSO credentials. 

Navigate to the Career Center page to find the Appointment page. Select “Career Fundamentals” for Career and Professional Development or “College Specific Career Guidance” based on your major. Appointments are offered virtually and in person. 

Find the Career House

Visit the Office of Career and Professional Development in the heart of Chapman's Orange campus at 342 N. Glassell Street. Find the green historic housing complex directly across from DeMille Hall and adjacent to the Fowler School of Law.
