»Fire & Life Safety

Fire & Life Safety is responsible for the safety of the Chapman community and guests by mitigating potential fire hazards on campus. Prevention is accomplished through:

  • code compliance
  • coordinating inspections of campus structures
  • inspections of fire protection systems
  • educating and training the campus community  

The Fire & Life Safety Manager serves as the university liaison with the City of Orange Fire Department in matters of permits, inspections, fire investigations, and pre-incident planning.

    Reporting a Fire

    All fire incidents must be reported to Public Safety at (714) 997-6763, or 911.
