Chapman University operates a shuttle service for faculty, staff, students and their guests.  This service operates between west side parking areas and Schmid Gate, the Orange Campus and Chapman Grand, the Orange Campus and Panther Village, and between the Irvine Train Station and the Rinker Campus.

Chapman Grand/Panther Village:

Monday thru Friday Hours of Operation:

8:30 a.m. first departure from Chapman Grand

5:55 p.m. last departure from Schmid Gate

No Weekend Service Hours for Chapman Grand/

Panther Village

From Parking Lots:


Monday thru Friday Hours of Operation:

7:30 a.m. starts at West Palm Industrial Lot

5:10 p.m. ends at Orange Train Depot

(last pick-up at Schmid Gate is 5 p.m.)

No Weekend Service Hours for the Parking Lots

Rinker Campus:

Monday thru Friday Hours of Operation:

7:35 a.m. starts at the Irvine Metrolink Station (7:10 a.m. on Mondays)

8:30 a.m. ends at the Rinker Campus (9401 Jeronimo Bldg)

4:35 p.m. starts at Rinker Campus (9501 Jeronimo Bldg)

5:25 p.m. ends at the Irvine Metrolink Station


+ - Shuttle Routes

Chapman Grand/Panther Village: Chapman Grand, Panther Village and Schmid Gate on a continuous loop.

Parking Lots: West Palm Lot, West Campus Structure, Orange Train Station and Schmid Gate on a continuous loop.

Rinker Campus: Irvine Train Station and Rinker Campus on a continuous loop.


+ - Rider Guide

  1. Chapman ID Required or must be a guest of a Chapman ID Holder.
  2. Seat belts must be worn by all seated occupants.  No standing unless instructed by the driver.  Max standing capacity is 9 passengers.
  3. The use of cell phones or personal listening devices must be used in a way as to not disturb other passengers.
  4. The use of tobacco in any form is prohibited in the shuttles.
  5. The possession of alcoholic beverages, firearms, or illegal drugs is prohibited inside the shuttles.
  6. Cleats may not be worn in the shuttles.
  7. Food and/or beverages other than water may not be consumed in the shuttles.
  8. Trash, debris and personal belongings are to be removed at the conclusion of each ride.
  9. No animals, except service animals, are permitted in on the shuttles.
  10. The shuttle will only drop off or pick-up passengers at designated stops.  Loading or unloading in non-designated stops must be approved by a supervisor.  Picking up or dropping off in the street is not allowed.
  11. Shopping shuttle passengers are limited to what they can carry on-board in one trip.  Bags must be able to be secured under the seat or on your lap.
  12. Standing passengers must be holding on to a support bar/strap.  Driver will have to stop the shuttle until all passengers are in compliance before proceeding.
