Weigh the Waste

Weigh the Waste events take place monthly in Chapman's Dining Hall. This educational program is geared to assist students in post-consumer waste reduction. Volunteers will assist in the collection and weighing of the food waste. After the event, volunteers can enjoy a free meal at the dining hall!

The Orange Home Grown Farm welcomes anyone who is interested in assisting with tasks in and around the farm. Come get your hands dirty and help maintain this urban oasis! Volunteers are needed every Friday from 9:30-12:30 p.m.

Community Consciousness

Community Consciousness's Compost Drop-Off program gathers compost material and delivers it to the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center (IROEC) where volunteers complete the composting process. Volunteers will be trained on how to process and turn the compost.
