»Computer Classrooms Reservations

Policies & Guidelines

The Computer Classrooms in the basement of the Leatherby Library may be reserved for academic instruction by a Chapman University faculty or staff member.

  • Reservations can only be made two weeks after the start of the semester.
  • Reservations can NOT be made during finals week.
  • Filming is not allowed inside the Leatherby Libraries.
  • Computer Classrooms can only be reserved during open hours.
  • The reservation space will be held for only 10 minutes after the reservation start time.
  • It is the instructor's responsibility to be aware of the available equipment/software and its capabilities.
  • If a reservation is no longer needed, the reservation must be canceled as soon as possible.
  • No food or drink (water bottles only are acceptable if they have a cap and are kept off the desks. No other beverage containers with or without lids are permitted.

Lab Hours

The Leatherby LibraryComputer Classrooms are open the same hours as the Leatherby Library and will close 60 minutes before the library closes.

Lab Policies

Please follow these simple rules while in the Computer Classrooms as a courtesy to others and to provide a quality computing and study environment:

  • No food or drink in the Computer Classrooms (water bottles only are acceptable if they have a cap and are kept off the desks. No other beverage containers with or without lids are permitted).
  • No loud conversation or disruptive activities
  • No cell phone use

Anyone violating these policies will be asked to leave the Computer Classrooms. Refusal to comply with the Service Desk staff will result in the revocation of computing privileges.
