Software and Operating System vulnerabilities are released every day.
An updated operating system and third-party applications ensures that your system is not vulnerable and cannot be exploited by a malicious program.
Older operating systems have vulnerabilities that have been published and are actively exploited.

Set a strong password or PIN to secure your computer, laptop or Handheld device.
Ask yourself: "If my device was lost or stolen, what would a complete stranger gain access to if my device was not password protected?"
Additionally, we recommend encrypting the hard drive of your device.
Simply put: The password is the only thing that is between you and the hackers (unless you use Multi-Factor Authentication). Treat it as you would your car or home key.
Everything you see, someone who has your password would be able to see.
