» Introducing PantherBot
PantherBot offers 24/7/365 chat support to the Chapman community.
PantherBot is here to answer your questions quickly and efficiently. It uses AI to provide fast and reliable information, so you get the help you need anytime on any device. Patherbot is anonymous and multilingual. You can ask questions in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese.
PantherBot has an extensive knowledge base to get you the answers you need when you need them. It also offers live chat (when agents are available) to help answer your questions quicker. You can simply type “Live Chat” to be connected to an agent. If Live agents are not available, PantherBot will ask you to share a few simple pieces of information and create a request on your behalf so someone can get in touch with you.
PantherBot is currently available on web pages for the following departments: Academic Advising, Undergraduate Admissions, IS&T, Office of the Registrar, Ticketing Office, Student Business Services, Residence Life sites, Parent Engagement, and Center for Global Education. It’s coming to more Chapman sites soon.
When you are on a page that supports PantherBot, you will see a chat window in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can simply click on it and start interacting with it.
How to interact with PantherBot?
If you are on a PantherBot-supported site, you'll see the chat box in the bottom right corner of the screen. At that point, you just need to select the Chatbox and ask away!
You can ask questions like "how do I reset my password," "how do I purchase tickets," or "how much does it cost to park." PantherBot's AI will get you the answer you need. If it can't find the answer, it will either connect you with a live agent or capture your contact information so that someone can contact you.
It's that easy!


What are the Supported Devices?
PatherBot is supported Macs and PCs. You can access it on Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Edge browsers.
Pantherbot is also available on Android and iOS enabled phones and tablets.
What About Privacy?
PantherBot is supported by Ocelot. Ocelot follows the guidelines set by federal and state law regarding the collection of personal information, including the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For California residents, Ocelot abides by the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
