Install Full Desktop Version on Your Windows PC or MAC 

Individual users can download the software if they have admin rights on their computer (whether Chapman- or personally owned). Click the download link, then use the search box to find Chapman University, which will take you to the appropriate registration form.

• Site Subscription: Chapman University

If you need to install ChemDraw on a Chapman-owned computer, but do NOT have admin access.

To be installed on a Chapman-owned Windows PC or Mac, please get in touch with the IS&T Service Desk at servicedesk@chapman.edu. They will need your name, email address, contact phone number, and computer name.

How to find your computer name:

Mac OS X 10.4 and later:

1. Go to and Launch your System Preferences.
2. Click on the Sharing pane.
3. Your Computer Name is listed at the top of the pane.

Windows 7:

1. Go to and click on the Start Menu
2. Right-click on Computer, and then click Properties (the computer icon may be on your desktop)
3. Under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, you can find your computer name and its full computer name if your computer is on a domain.

Windows 10:

1. In the search field next to the start menu (when it asks “Ask "e anyth" ng”, type “Com"uter name.”
2. The search result"will show “View your PC name.”  Click on the result, and a window will appear with the PC Name.
