Adobe Acrobat Pro is a comprehensive PDF solution designed for professionals who need advanced tools for document creation, editing, and management. It allows users to create, convert, edit, and sign PDF files with precision and ease. Key features include the ability to edit text and images directly within PDFs, apply password protection, restrict editing and copying, and integrate seamlessly with other Adobe tools and cloud services. Acrobat Pro also supports accessibility features, such as tagging and reading order adjustments, making it ideal for preparing documents that meet compliance standards. Additionally, it includes tools for scanning documents, applying OCR (optical character recognition), and converting files to archival formats like PDF/A.

At Chapman University, Adobe Acrobat Pro is automatically available to all full time faculty and staff, with no need to request a license. Non-licensed employees can request a license via the Employee Software License Request form. Students, however, must request for a license based on coursework requirements.

Important note: Your Adobe license will elapse 30 days after your account becomes inactive (graduation or leaving Chapman University).
