FAQ
1. Our program currently pays for Dedoose, how do we transition into the campus-wide subscription?
By logging into the Dedoose platform with your chapman.edu email address, you will automatically be migrated to the campus-wide subscription and will no longer be prompted to pay. If you have existing credits on your account, your Dedoose account manager will have them 'banked' for future use in the event your campus does not fund Dedoose in the future.
2. Can I still collaborate with people outside of my university?
Yes! You as the project owner can invite anyone to collaborate on your project. This does not impact your university subscription in any way and the external collaborator is responsible for their own subscription.
3. Will any of my data or projects change? How do I transition projects to the university account?
Your data and projects will not change in any way and you do not need to take any action to migrate projects, as they are connected to your individual email address. If you have projects that are on a personal email address (gmail or non-chapman.edu address), please contact PremiumSupport@dedoose.com and we can assist with migrating projects to your chapman.edu email address.
4. What data can my university see/access?
Your university is able to see your email address, as it is the anchor for connecting you to the university account. The project creator controls access to who can view and access their data; only the people you invite via the Access Workspace of your project can see your data.
