» Walk Against Violence

Each Year, the students, staff, and faculty of Chapman University walk from Attallah Piazza to Old Town Orange and back as a way of speaking out against rape, sexual assault, and other violent acts that target women. They take a public stand against violence that occurs every day. All who walk can choose the shoes they want to walk in. Whatever shoe you choose, come and speak out against violence.

The men of Chapman know that the best way to stop violence against women is to get men to stop inflicting it upon them. We hope that you support their efforts.

We invite all to come and walk (wearing high heels or not). The walk begins in the Attallah Piazza.

Date: Wednesday, September 25, 2019

Time: Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. / Event starts at 12:00 p.m.

We encourage all walkers to bring a pair of high heels for the walk. There will be a selection of high heels available on a first-come first-serve basis for walkers. Finally, there is no entry fee for our walk, but donations are encouraged and will go to Community Service Programs Sexual Assault Division.
