Students are encouraged to seek out other private scholarships that may be awarded by local organizations such as businesses, local bar associations, churches, and civic groups.
All awards from outside sources must be reported to the Graduate Financial Aid Office. This includes outside scholarships, employer tuition benefits, etc. To report an outside resource, please contact the Graduate Financial Aid Office. Students will be informed of the impact of these on institutional or federal awards. Total financial aid cannot exceed the total cost of attendance. If the total of all of aid exceeds the total cost of attendance some federal awards may be reduced. Whenever possible, loans will be reduced before reducing any grant or scholarship awards.
