Chapman University's health insurance plan is through United Healthcare. Students may visit www.uhcsr.com/chapman to view full plan description, terms of coverage, and more. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits to enroll in student health insurance.

Undergraduate Students
Student Health Insurance for an academic year is $2,365.00.
The Health Center Fee is mandatory for all full-time undergraduate students and cannot be waived. It provides access to the Student Health Center and its services.

Graduate Health Science
Doctor of Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, & Physician Asst. Studies students are automatically billed Student Health Insurance. All other Graduate Health Science students have the option to enroll in the student health insurance coverage. The health insurance charge is assessed on a per-term basis, after class enrollment has been verified. The health insurance coverage will be billed to the student account for each term.

All International Students
All international students are automatically billed for Student Health Insurance. The health insurance coverage is billed on a per-term basis, after class enrollment has been verified.
The Health Center Fee is also mandatory for international students and cannot be waived. It provides access to the Student Health Center and its services.
Medical insurance coverage required by the Department of State (DOS) for F1/J1 Visa Holders:
To opt-out (waive) the school's coverage, please read the following:
- Your coverage should have Medical Benefits of at least $100,000 per accident or illness.
- Repatriation of Remains in the amount of $25,500.
- Expenses associated with the medical evacuation of the exchange visitor to his or her home country in the amount of $50,000.
- A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness.
Submissions are audited. Submitting false information could subject you to disciplinary action.
