» P.E.E.R. and Health Education / C.A.R.E.S.

P.E.E.R. (Proactive Education Encouraging Responsibility) is a Chapman University department dedicated to educating students regarding subjects of sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, alcohol abuse, and other health related topics.

C.A.R.E.S. (Creating A Rape-free Environment for Students) is a student group housed in the Department of PEER and Health Education and coordinator by Dr. Dani Smith.  

C.A.R.E.S. hosts interactive presentations and many other prevention education and awareness programs throughout the year. Please use the links below to learn more about a specific health subject and always feel free to contact the Director of PEER and CARES, Dr. Dani Smith with any questions concerning you or another student's health or safety at dasmith@chapman.edu.

American Red Cross Blood Drives are also hosted by the PEER and Health Education Department.

C.A.R.E.S. Meeting

C.A.R.E.S. (Creating a Rape-free Environment for Students) organization meets every Friday at noon during the academic year. Send an email to Dr. Dani Smith (dasmith@chapman.edu)    for more information.  Meetings for the semester take place in AF 206C
