Concerned about a student?

University staff and administrators are here to help. The University has identified key Chapman community contacts that are experienced in responding to many kinds of student concerns and can offer assistance. These key personnel are members of the Student Concerns Intervention Team.

One of the best ways that we can identify students who may be having difficulty is when a caring individual reaches out to let us know about their concerns. Report a concern »

Community of Care

Fostering a community of care that supports the success of students is essential to the values of Chapman University. Since Chapman is a small community, there are natural ways in which we all interact in a close-knit environment. The University actively supports the philosophy that we are a community who cares about all its members and we are all encouraged to identify students who may be in need of additional support or services. The Student Concerns Intervention Team is one of the best ways to support the success of our students, especially those who may be dealing with a personal challenge.
