» Continuing Student Housing

Continuing students who would like to live in on-campus housing for Academic Year 2021-2022 must submit a housing application via the Chapman Housing Portal which opens on April 5th, 2021. Students will receive consideration if their housing application is complete and submitted by the priority filing date of April 19th, 2021. This includes submitting the non-refundable $500 non-refundable Housing Reservation Payment.

Students must take the following steps in order to apply live on campus:

Step 1: Complete Housing Application via Chapman Housing Portal

Submit your housing application using the Chapman Housing Portal. To access the portal, you will need your Chapman username and password. If you do not have this information, you can contact the IS&T Service Desk. You must also submit a non-refundable $500 housing reservation payment.  Instructions to make this payment are included in the application. The Housing Application closes on April 19th, 2021.  

Step 2: Find and Select Preferred Roommates

Re-access the application using the Chapman Housing Portal once your preferred roommates have completed their application. You are able to search them by their name or screen name that they can provide to you. You can also find and match roommates based on the preferences you listed in the application. You will receive prompts in the application for how to list them as Preferred Roommates.

Step 3: Complete the Preferences Form

Information about this form will be communicated to eligible students via the students' Chapman email.
