The Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid is devoted to creating programming that helps undergraduate students at Chapman University become capable and confident in their ability to successfully manage their personal finances.

One-on-One Coaching
Undergraduate Financial Aid employs peer financial wellness coaches who lead our workshops and offer one-on-one in-person coaching. They are equipped to discuss a range of financial topics and have a wealth of information to offer, based in research and their own personal experiences. Main Topics Covered
Budgeting and Saving: Budgeting is a great place to start your financial wellness journey. Learn how to
manage your income expenses, daily spending, and establish a long-term budgeting plan. Save
up for the future.
Credit Management: Start building your credit and protecting your identity now to save thousands of dollars in the future. Understand
banking, credit and debit cards, credit scores, cost of living, and learn how to avoid
identity theft.
Loans: Student loan debt can be a pain after graduation. Start creating a plan for student
loan debt now to reduce stress and avoid unforeseen financial issues down the road.
Understand your financial aid offer and loans, including interest rates, and repayment.
Scholarships: Private scholarships can significantly lower your educational costs. Gain helpful
tools, resources, and strategies on scholarship applications and the dreadful essay(s)
