Topics covered
We will cover a new topic every day. While you can choose to participate in only some of them, we strongly recommend that you participate in all or as many as you can:
- Day 1 (Monday, July 29): Applications of proportions to science; working with fractions
- Day 2 (Tuesday, July 30): Power functions, algebraic expressions, and operations with polynomials
- Day 3 (Wednesday, July 31): Working with rational expressions
- Day 4 (Thursday, August 1): Exponential functions
- Day 5 (Friday, August 2): Trigonometry
- Day 6 (Monday, August 5): Inverses of functions with applications to logarithms and inverse trig function.
- Day 7 (Tuesday, August 6): Complex numbers, their geometry and applications
- Day 8 (Wednesday, August 7): Matrices and their applications
- Day 9 (Thursday, August 8): Problem-solving skills
- Day 10 (Friday, August 9): How to succeed in college mathematics. Some topics: reading word problems, approximations, math modeling etc.

Daily schedule
- 9–10:30 a.m.: Lecture (with examples)
- 10:30–10:45 a.m.: Break
- 10:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m.: Lecture (with examples)
- 12:15–1:30 p.m.: Lunch break
- 1:30–2:30 p.m.: Lecture (with examples)
- 2:30–2:45 p.m.: Break
- 2:45–4:30 p.m.: Supervised practice
