Matthew Mason

Matthew Mason is the At Large Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Matthew is a Junior Economics major with a minor in History. In addition to serving as a senator for SGA, Matthew is also an active member of The Anti-Philospher Forum. He is committed to strengthening the university by fostering excellence for individual students and the Chapman community.

Jaden is a junior Health Sciences major with a minor in Film & Media Studies minor. In addition to SGA, he also serves as the secretary and treasurer of Chapman AMSA, social media manager of Chapman PVHS, a marine biologist lab assistant, and a member of Kapamilya. He is looking forward to being the voice for the Junior class and enhancing the Chapman student experience.

Helene Vlok is the First Student Organization Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Helene is a Junior Business Administration (Marketing) and Art History double major. In addition to SGA, she is an Office of Admissions Student Ambassador, Director of Communications for Mortar Board Honor Society, Treasurer of Fiber Arts Club and a member of the Kappa Alpha Pu Pre-Law Fraternity. Helene is looking forward to providing a space for students to give feedback, raise concerns, ask questions, and propose initiatives. She is excited to see student organizations thrive on campus!

Diba Vazirian is the Argyros College of Business and Economics senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Diba is a sophomore Economics major with a minor in Analytics. She also serves as the secretary of Chapman Economics Society and is an active member in the Iranian Student Cultural Organization, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Economic Honor Society. As Argyros Senator, Diba is looking forward to advocating for the needs of Argyros students and clubs. She also hopes to encourage transparency and increase resources for all Chapman students!

Emily Drum is the Attallah College of Educational Studies Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Emily is a Senior IES-MACI and Sociology double major with a History minor. In addition to SGA, she is the President for Attallah Ambassadors, works on campus as the Lead Community Building Assistant in Argyros Forum Student Union, serves as the Philanthropy Coordinator for the International Educational Honors Society Kappa Delta Pi, Vice President of Events of the Women’s Network, and the Art & Digital Director of Rage Magazine. She is looking forward to make meaningful change leading the Reforming Disability Services Task Force and through projects to help enhance the experience of Attallah Students including the establishment of Attallah Ambassadors.

Cate is a junior Theater Performance major with minors in Production Design and The Honors Program. In addition to SGA, she is on the executive board of CAST and Guerrilla Shakespeare and a member of the admissions volunteer team and the CoPA Student Leadership and Advisory Board Council, Tri Delta, and a previous Orientation Leader. Cate looks forward to increasing community, clarifying student resources and funding, and advocating for underrepresented students regarding their academic needs.
Manya Chandra

Manya Chandra is the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Manya is a junior Health Sciences major with a minor in Neuroscience. In addition to SGA, she is the lead RA for Pralle Sodaro Residence Hall, a member of the Chapman First Aid Team, serves as the Social Media Coordinator for AMSA, an Academic Coordinator for AMSA, and a supplemental instructor for Professor Kate Hill in BIO 204 and AI Research. Manya is looking forward to getting Crean students involved on campus, especially in research areas. She also aims to advocate for stronger membership programs to help students build meaningful connections with faculty and professionals.

Madison is a sophomore Broadcast Journalism and Documentary major with a minor in Political Science. In addition to SGA, she also serves as secretary for CSBN is an active member in Alpha Gamma Delta, and an intern at Chapman News. Nataniel Farzan is the Fowler School of Engineering Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Nataniel is a Junior Computer Science major with minors in Documentary Film and the University Honors Program. In addition to SGA, he also serves as the president for Computer Science Club and is an active member in the Iranian Student Cultural Association. He looks forward to improving access to academic advising and professional development resources for students at all stages of their college experience.

He is a part of Schmid Student Leadership Council (SSLC), Orange County Association of Environmental Professionals (OCAEP), Out in Science Technology Mathematics and Engineering (OSTEM), Physics Club, Aspire Unity, Reform, and Activism in Healthcare (AURA). Amanda Dornsife is the School of Communication Senator for the 2024-2025 academic year. Amanda is a senior communication studies major with minors in English, disability studies, and Psychology. In addition to SGA, she is a member of the Mortar Board, Active Minds, Lambda Pi Eta, School of Communication Student Advisory Board and Trailblazers, The Spoonies, and Camp Kesem. Amanda is excited to serve as the SOC senator for the second time and looks forward to working with students to address their concerns.

Valerie is a senior Sociology major with minors in Dance, Creative and Cultural Industries, and University Honors Program. In addition to SGA, her involvements include being the Orientation Coordinator for Event Logistics, Alumni, Marketing, and PR Coordinator for Camp Kesem, Pre-Law Society President, member of the Chapman Dance Alliance, and a member of the Wilkinson Student Advisory and Leadership Council. She is looking forward to amplifying student voices and making the Wilkinson experience valuable.
