» Applying To On Campus Housing

We are excited that you are living on campus during your first year in the Fenestra residential communities at Chapman! Please submit your application on the Chapman housing portal, available in early November 2018. The priority filing date for the application will be December 1, 2018. 

Please note, beginning in fall 2018, all incoming first year students are required to live in Chapman housing until the end of their second year. Students who live with a close adult family member (defined as a parent, guardian, aunt, uncle, or grandparent) and within a 30 mile drive of the university may qualify for an exemption from this requirement. Complete the steps below in order to be considered for housing.

+ - Step 1: Complete Housing Application via Chapman Housing Portal

Submit your housing application for interterm and/or spring spring 2019 using the Chapman Housing Portal. To access the portal, you will need your Chapman username and password. If you do not have this information, you can contact the IS&T Service Desk. You must also submit a non-refundable $500 housing reservation payment. Instructions to make this payment are included on the application.

+ - Step 2: Housing Application and Assignment Processed

Students who have applied for interterm and spring 2019 housing and are placed will be notified of their housing assignment by late December 2018. Students who apply for spring 2019 housing only and are placed will be notified of their assignment by mid-January 2019.
