Several majors at Chapman University require and recommend foundation and/or prerequisite courses. You can find the required and recommended courses for those majors below.
To find how your transferable courses at your college match Chapman’s prerequisites, you can use Transferology. This free tool will give you the most updated articulation information.
A few items to keep in mind while reviewing prerequisites:
- Some prerequisite courses may double count for general education (Chapman shared inquiries) and major requirements.
- Prerequisite courses can be in progress at the time of applying.

Argyros School of Business and Economics Prerequisites
The average GPA for your required core courses must equal a minimum of 2.7 or higher. All required courses must be completed with a letter grade. The minimum passing grade is C or higher. P/NP (pass/no pass) grades will not be accepted for these courses.
