Some majors at Chapman University require or strongly recommend prerequisite courses. You can find the required or recommended courses for those majors below.
To find how your transferable courses at your college match Chapman’s prerequisites, you can use Transferology. This free tool will give you the most updated articulation information.
A few items to keep in mind while reviewing prerequisites:
- Some prerequisite courses may double count for general education (Chapman shared inquiries) and major requirements.
- Prerequisite courses can be in progress at the time of applying.

Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences recommended prerequisites
Only the following Crean majors have recommended prerequisites for transfer students:
- BS in Health Sciences.
- BA in Psychology.
The BS in Psychology does not have recommended prerequisites. Transfer students are not able to apply directly to the BS in Psychology program.
