Business Administration program emphases

An emphasis is an area you will focus on as you study Business Administration. By the time you graduate, you will be an expert in your emphasis and an asset to any organization.

Study abroad and away

A global perspective goes a long way in today’s business world, and learning about international business is essential. That’s why we encourage business students to take their education abroad — and you can too. At Chapman, you will get the chance to:

  • Study abroad for a full semester or year at a school in another country.
  • Take a travel course where you will take a class in another country or part of the United States with your Chapman classmates.
  • Intern abroad and get to know what it’s like to work in another country.

Featured program: Walk Down Wall Street

Walk Down Wall Street is a popular travel course where you will visit New York City and network with the leading finance professionals. Plus, you’ll tour the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ MarketSite and much more. Who knows? You may even grow your network and find job opportunities.


Entrepreneurship opportunities

Our Ralph W. Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics is where you’ll gain the business acumen to match your passion. At the Leatherby Center, you can:

  • Learn from successful entrepreneurs and businesspeople.
  • Turn your ideas into real business plans in the Launch Labs, our on-campus startup incubator.
  • Form your own startup with your fellow Panthers.
  • Learn how to launch your career — no matter what you’re passionate about.
  • Join Panther Cage Match, a pitch competition that gives you a shot at funding from investors.

Student-led business clubs and organizations

In college, clubs and organizations help you make friends and connections, gain experience and prepare for your career. At Chapman, our student-led business clubs or organizations give you opportunities to:

  • Enhance your leadership skills.
  • Build relationships with peers and alumni.
  • Network with business leaders through exclusive events.

We're also home to the Greek organizations Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi. These are two co-ed professional fraternities. They're a great way to gain experience and make connections in the world of business, while making friends and colleagues along the way.
