Business Administration program emphases
As a Business Administration student, you’ll gain broad and applicable knowledge.
But to succeed in the business world, you also need depth. That’s where an emphasis comes in.
An emphasis is an area you will focus on as you study Business Administration. By
the time you graduate, you will be an expert in your emphasis and an asset to any
organization.
As a Business Administration major at Chapman, you can emphasize in:
- Business Economics.
- Entrepreneurship.
- Finance.
- International Business.
- Management.
- Marketing.
- Real Estate.
The classes you take as a Business Administration major will change depending on your
emphasis. For a deeper dive into each emphasis, see our Business Administration catalog.
Study abroad and away
A global perspective goes a long way in today’s business world, and learning about
international business is essential. That’s why we encourage business students to
take their education abroad — and you can too. At Chapman, you will get the chance
to:
- Study abroad for a full semester or year at a school in another country.
- Take a travel course where you will take a class in another country or part of the United States with your
Chapman classmates.
- Intern abroad and get to know what it’s like to work in another country.
Featured program: Walk Down Wall Street
Seven Days. Six companies. And maybe a Broadway show or two along the way.
Walk Down Wall Street is a popular travel course where you will visit New York City and network with the
leading finance professionals. Plus, you’ll tour the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ
MarketSite and much more. Who knows? You may even grow your network and find job opportunities.

Our Ralph W. Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics is where you’ll gain the business acumen to match your passion. At the Leatherby
Center, you can:
