We’re committed to supporting transfer students with pathways for guaranteed transfer from select community colleges to Chapman.

You’ll find the details on each specific pathway below, but all transfer pathways:

• Guarantee admission to Chapman.

• Provide a clear set of classes to take, at both your community college and Chapman, making it easy to stay on track.
• Allow you to enter Chapman with some GE and major coursework completed.
• Guarantee a pathway to an on-time graduation timeline once at Chapman.
  
  

 

 C-TAG for Future Educators

The Chapman Transfer Agreement Guarantee (C-TAG) for Future Educators is a transfer pathway for students planning on going into elementary education.

Students at the following community colleges who meet the requirements are eligible for guaranteed transfer into Chapman’s Liberal Studies major:

• Irvine Valley College (IVC).
• Santa Ana College (SAC).
• Santiago Canyon College (SCC).
  
  

 

Santiago Canyon College Transfer Admission Guarantee for graduates of Orange Unified School District high schools

This transfer pathway is available to students at Santiago Canyon College who graduated from an Orange Unified School District high school.

Students who meet the requirements are eligible to transfer into the following majors at Chapman:

• Biochemistry (BS).
• Biological Sciences (BS).
• Business Administration, Accounting (BS).
• Business Administration, Finance (BS).
• Business Administration, General Business (BS).
• Business Administration, Marketing (BS).
• Business Administration, Real Estate (BS).

California LAW Pathways

California LAW Pathways is a program for California community college transfer students who plan to eventually enroll in law school.

Chapman participates in the program. We provide:

• A pathway to transfer into an undergraduate program at Chapman (any major). Students from California LAW Pathways partner schools are eligible.
• Advising resources and networking opportunities during your time as an undergraduate at Chapman. These help you prepare to apply to our Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
• An application fee waiver when you eventually apply to our School of Law.
