Once your find your advisor

After finding your advisor, you can read a bit about them, contact them via email if you have any questions, and schedule your required advising appointment. 

  • When contacting your advisor, please include your Chapman ID.
  • Email is great for your advisor to answer relatively quick questions about studying abroad. 
  • If your questions are more complex, such as finding the right program or determining whether you can/should study abroad, we suggest making an appointment.

Scheduling a study abroad advising appointment

Your advisor will help guide you through the application process for study abroad and help answer any questions you may have. Your advisor will also:

  • Discuss your program selection.
  • Discuss your academic goals and interests.
  • Address questions or concerns you might have.
  • Provide the next steps and deadlines for your applications.
