Keck Center for Science and Engineering

»Explore the Keck Center

The Keck Center is the home of our Schmid College of Science and Technology and Fowler School of Engineering. The Center’s opening signaled a tremendous step forward in the STEM fields at Chapman University.

This facility helps power the convergence of science and technology on our campus. It also ushers in a new era of our faculty and students collaborating – across programs and disciplines – to solve global challenges.

Keck Facilities

From classrooms to lab spaces and even the hallways, everything in the Keck Center is designed to foster collaboration and hands-on learning.

Swenson Family Hall of Engineering

In the Swenson Family Hall of Engineering, students and faculty can access facilities, equipment, and technology within classrooms, labs, and a Makerspace to help build the future.

Training and Reservations

After training on certain equipment, students can reserve times to use each tool. Visit our page to view available equipment and make a reservation.

Grand Challenges Initiative

The GCI is a unique two-year project that is part of the curriculum for all incoming first-year students in Schmid College and the Fowler School of Engineering.
