Dining on campus

Our Campus Center has the Paws Cafe on the 1st floor. Paws Cafe has cooked meals, to-go items and a full service coffee station.

It is regularly open from morning through early evening.

For those looking to bring food to campus, there is also food preparation and storage space on the Campus Center’s 1st floor. This area has full-size refrigerators and microwaves for you to store and prepare meals any time of the day.

Once you have your meal, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for you to eat and study or socialize. There are also water filling stations all around campus.

Dining off campus

There are few off-campus dining options within walking distance of the Rinker Center. However, the Irvine Spectrum is an outdoor mall just 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) from campus.

The Irvine Spectrum features dozens of shopping, entertainment and dining options. You can view all of their dining options here. These also include various supermarkets and convenience stores if you need to go grocery shopping or grab food on the go.

Food insecurity concerns

Chapman students should not have their academic pursuits compromised to food insecurity. We have several resources to support students experiencing or concerned about food insecurity.

If you are a current or potential student with any questions or concerns about food insecurity, please visit the Panther Pantry page for more information about the Panther Pantry and email pantry@chapman.edu to connect with a  staff member for assistance.
