Our Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Food Science for Underrepresented Populations (SURRFS-UP) is a paid summer program that offers students an intensive food science research experience.
- The program runs for 8 weeks between June-August
- Open to first-generation students and students from underrepresented populations in STEM
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- $4800 stipend and free on-campus housing for the duration of the program
- You'll develop your leadership and critical thinking skills, gain hands-on research experience, and learn about career opportunities in food science
