Mental Health
CAMPUS RESOURCES
Student Psychological Counseling Services
Provides short-term counseling and psychotherapy to students.
Frances Smith Center for Individual & Family Therapy
Offers free counseling to all Chapman graduate students.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES
California Bar Lawyer Assistance Program
Law students and State Bar applicants are eligible for all the Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) services. You can access free presentations, a free assessment with service referrals, short-term counseling, and longer-term support groups.
The Other Bar
The Other Bar provides confidential support for those in the legal profession who are struggling with addiction to substances or behaviors, primarily through peer support meetings.
National Alliance on Mental Illness Orange County
NAMI Orange County is dedicated to improving the lives of the people of our community affected by mental illness. NAMI offers classes and support groups.
Financial Wellness
Graduate Financial Aid
The Graduate Financial Aid Office is a student-oriented institution that provides support and resources to assist students in obtaining financing, access to financial resources, and other assistance to remove the financial obstacles that would prevent students from realizing their educational goals.
Chapman Food Pantry
The food pantry is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those with approved access. Request access to the Orange Campus food pantry by filling out the Orange Campus Food Pantry Access Request form.
MAX by AccessLex
MAX is a program dedicated to providing law students with tools and best practices for making good financial decisions. Some of their most helpful resources include a Loan Calculator and AccessConnex.

Intellectual Health
University Disability Services
University Disability Services receives and evaluates documentation provided by students to verify disabilities and consults with students about appropriate individualized accommodations based upon documentation.
Academic Achievement
The Academic Achievement Program is designed to minimize the confusion and frustration many first-year law students experience through mentoring, workshops and assistance from academic fellows.
Academic Fellows
Academic Fellows are upper-level students with strong academic records and grades of 3.5 or higher in each class for which they serve as an Academic Fellow. Academic fellows help other students develop study strategies and exam taking skills.
Law Library
The Hugh and Hazel Darling Law Library is an integral part of the academic and collegial experience at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, helping students to become proficient legal researchers, and supporting faculty research, scholarship, and teaching.
Bar Preparation Program
The law school offers a unique in-house bar preparation program to complement traditional doctrinal law school coursework, with a goal of fully and adequately preparing students for the California and out-of-state bar examinations.

The Fish Interfaith Center offers support and inspiration to every student and member of the Chapman family. You are invited to discover your center, lower your stress and deepen your spiritual awareness through a religious or spiritual group, secular mindfulness or one of the Fish’s many other practices.

Chapman University Student Health (CUSH) is staffed with professionally licensed medical assistants, nurse practitioners and a Medical Doctor. Your health plays a vital role in how successfully you achieve your academic, social and personal goals during your college years
