About the Darling Law Library

The Hugh and Hazel Darling Law Library is an integral part of the academic and collegial experience at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, helping students to become proficient legal researchers, and supporting faculty research, scholarship, and teaching.

The Darling Law Library’s collection includes numerous databases facilitating access to more than 2 million electronic resources—including federal and state primary authority, legal treatises, practitioner guides, legal encyclopedias, periodicals, and much more. In addition, dedicated Research and Instruction Librarians provide students with legal research strategies and resources, both at the law library’s research desk, during workshops, and as guest lecturers throughout the academic year.
