Chile is South America's safest and most thriving country that hosts a large, educated middle class population. It is known for its natural scenery, whether it is the mountains of Patagonia or the beach resort areas along the South Pacific Ocean. Since Chile is 2880 miles long, it hosts a wide range of climates including northern deserts, Mediterranean-like climate in the middle, and an oceanic climate of alpine tundra and glaciers in the south. Santiago is a modern city with a good public transportation system. Because Santiago is not as large as some of the other cities in Latin America, it makes it very manageable and easy to explore all that it offers. It is also the main business and commerce center of Chile, so it offers a wealth of career-building internship opportunities.
A wide range of internship placements in English and Spanish are available. English speaking placements will be focused in business, marketing, finance, hospitality, tourism, teaching, journalism, international trade, and conservation. Additional areas will be available to students who have intermediate Spanish language knowledge.
