Kick-Off at Musco (registration NOT required) Join us at the Musco Center for the Arts as we Kick Off our annual Staff Summit Week. This year's theme is "Celebrating Impact." Hear from President Struppa, VP|CHRO Brian Powell and other leaders as they recognize and celebrate how Chapman Staff make an impact every day. Immediately afterwards, step outside into the Aitken Arts Plaza to pick up your Staff Summit gifts, enjoy breakfast snacks and refreshments and create messages to post on our Celebrating Impact Exhibit! Hear about the history of the Center for American War Letters Archives, and the “California’s Gold” Exhibit and Huell Howser Archives, and visit the Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives. Dean Ross will be highlighting the special collections and art in the Leatherby Libraries that make it one of the favorite gathering places for students, faculty, and staff. |

Celebrating Impact Activity, Massage Chairs, Therapy Dogs, Group Line Dance, Photo Booth & more (registration not required) Celebrate YOU with a card on the Exhibit, relax and unwind in our Massage Chairs (massage chairs will be in the FISH Interfaith Center), de-stress with sweet therapy dogs, capture your Staff Summit 2022 memories in our open-air photo booth, show off your dance moves in a group line dance at 10:30am, participate in a Giveaway at 11:00am, and enjoy some refreshments. |

Spirit Day, Mixer in the Piazza, Exhibit Reading, Volunteer Effort (registration not required) Show your Chapman Spirit by wearing your favorite Chapman gear and join us for a Mixer in the Piazza! Enjoy refreshments and readings from the Celebrating Impact Exhibit. Make an impact in your local community by supporting the El Modena Family Resource Center and Friendly Center, two non-profits located in the City of Orange. Help assemble a backpack filled with school supplies for a child or organize a personal toiletry kit to be distributed through an emergency food program. Top it off with a handwritten note, and Chapman will ensure these items are delivered to folks in need living in the neighborhoods surrounding campus. When we give back to our local communities, we all benefit! |

Drum Circle (registration encouraged, but not required) Join Upbeat Drum Circles in a participatory experience of the rhythm of team building. A groove involves different parts coming together in an ensemble. By jamming together, we boost morale, reduce burnout, feel our common pulse, honor diversity, and explore metaphors of how each unique person fits into the whole. Instruments are provided. No prior musical experience necessary. If you can clap on beat, you can participate! |
