Voluntary UNUM Coverage
Chapman University employees have the option to purchase voluntary lines of coverage through UNUM to ensure they are financially protected when the unexpected happens.
Enrollment in these lines of coverage are only available during Open Enrollment.
Accident Insurance pays a set benefit amount based on the type of injury you have and the type of treatment you need. It covers accidents that occur on and off the job. And it includes a range of incidents, from common injuries to more serious events.
If you are diagnosed with an illness that is covered by the insurance, you can receive a lump sum benefit payment. You can use the money however you want.
Whole Life and Long Term Care Insurance
You can keep Whole Life and Long Term Care Insurance as long as you want. Once you have bought coverage, your cost won't increase as you age. The benefit amount stays the same, too - it doesn't decrease as you get older. That means you get protection during your working years and into retirement.

Chapman University employees can enroll in discounted pet and legal insurance at any time.
Chapman University employees receive a 10-20% discount on pet insurance through Spot Pet Insurance.
