  • The BS in Psychology is one of two psychology bachelor's degrees at Chapman. The other is the BA in Psychology. All Psychology majors begin in our BA in Psychology program.

Application process and requirements

All Psychology majors begin in our BA in Psychology program.

As you progress in the BA program, you can choose to apply to the BS in Psychology program or continue with the BA. BA students who choose to transition to the BS program usually do so in their junior year.

Students can apply to the BS in Psychology program during the designated application window, typically during the spring semester. The application includes:

  • A 3.5 GPA across the following classes:
    • PSY 101.
    • PSY 201.
    • PSY 203.
    • PSY 204.
    • PSY 333.
  • An application essay.
