+ - University and City of Orange Parking

All College of Performing Arts events offer the opportunity for free event parking with your ticket purchase. To redeem this benefit, please visit and register your license plate with Chapman University Parking Services prior to the event to avoid paying for parking or receiving a ticket.

It is imperative to follow all posted parking rules throughout the downtown Orange and University parking areas. University parking areas are restricted 24/7 and require a valid permit. Many residential streets around campus are restricted to Orange residents; the city patrols these areas frequently and tickets violators. Short-term campus parking permits are available at kiosks located within each parking structure or lot, or they can be added to your online ticket order upon checkout.

Where to Park:

The College of Performing Arts uses several venues across campus and there are many options for parking. Please see the College of Performing Arts  Parking Map for the parking location closest to your event.

For additional information about parking, please visit the Chapman University Visitor Parking Page.

Musco Center for the Arts

Musco Center for the Arts

The crown jewel of Chapman’s performing arts venues, Musco Center for the Arts opened its doors in 2016 to reveal 88,000 s.f. of state-of-the-art performance space that helps our students hone their craft and prepare for today’s careers in the performing arts. Acclaimed architects Pfeiffer Partners designed the three-level, 1,044-seat Center, and world-renowned acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota of Nagata Acoustics created and tuned the intimate hall, making it one of the West Coast’s best destinations for vocal music and instrumental performances.

Waltmar Theatre

Waltmar Theatre

The Waltmar Theatre was built in 1976 and seats 234 patrons. Located at the corner of Palm and Center, the theatre hosts plays and musicals produced and performed by Chapman students studying acting as well as theatre technology. The space is also used as a classroom for theatre students and master classes with visiting artists.

Salmon Recital Hall

Salmon Recital Hall

Located in Bertea Hall, the Salmon Recital Hall is home to many Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music events and classes. Chapman Auditorium (Memorial Hall)

Chapman Auditorium (Memorial Hall)

The historic Chapman Auditorium in Memorial Hall is one of the oldest operating venues on the Chapman campus. Memorial Hall is listed on the National Registry for Historic Buildings, boasting a beautiful marble entryway and an ornate proscenium arch above the auditorium stage, which was restored to its original colors in 2010. Seating for just over 950 patrons on two levels makes this circa 1920 venue a very special place to enjoy performances.

Partridge Dance Center

Partridge Dance Center

Partridge Dance Center is located at the corner of Cypress and Maple, and completed a state-of-the-art upgrade in August 2002.
