Complete Your First Destination Survey

After applying for degree conferral, undergraduate seniors will start receiving emails about and gain access to the Class of 2020 First Destination Survey. This survey impacts Chapman rankings and helps Chapman’s Career Team support you in reaching your post-graduation goals.

Whether you already have a job lined up, are seeking work, applying to graduate school, volunteering, joining the military, etc... this is the way you let us know what your next step is, goals are, and how we should be working to help you.

Alumni Career Services

Unlike many universities that separate, limit, and charge for alumni career services, no matter what year you graduated - your career support is free and forever.

Graduate with confidence knowing that the same friendly faces you worked with as a student  (including the Office of Career and Professional Development and College Career Advisors) are prepared to support you and your new, working professional needs throughout your entire career.

Reach out to us anytime! Whether you're in a career transition, are looking to network, need a strategy and goals session, or just want to say hi, we are here for you as your Career Connection for Life

Post-Grad Job Search

It goes without saying that this is an unprecedented time to be entering the workforce.

The most important thing to remember is that you are not alone. Your Chapman Career Team is here for you, and we are committed to doing everything we can to help you adapt and progress toward your goals during this difficult time.

We understand that many of you may be facing uncertainty with your post-graduation plans. Some industries and jobs have remained stable, but not all are as lucky. Some offers and plans that were in motion are now changed, delayed, or pending. As job seekers, this results in a need to pivot our plans to meet industry realities/demands, and remain determined in a competitive market.

For now, your job search may be harder, but continuing your search with patience and persistence is crucial. This is not the time to lose momentum. No matter what the news says, don’t stop applying.

If you have not done so already, especially if you are still applying for post-graduation jobs, please reach out and schedule a career appointment with a Career Educator or College Career Advisor as soon as possible. If you've already met with someone, be sure to follow-through on the next steps and advice provided, and schedule a follow-up appointment to help keep yourself accountable and the conversation going.
