The Academic Advising Center (AAC) partners with Argyros College Advising and holds many sessions of My Academic Plan (MAP) to assist students with planning for the first two years and next semester’s registration. It is recommended that each student take the MAPs session, then schedule an appointment with their program advisor at the Argyros College, and follow up with an appointment at the Academic Advising Center.  In order to see an advisor in the Academic Advising Center students will first need to attend a MAPs session.

We are excited to announce a new spring advising workshop focused directly on the needs of our sophomore population. Argyros College Advising is partnering with the Academic Advising Center and Argyros College Career Services team to deliver a fun, practical and hands-on workshop. The Sophomore Academic Planning Session will be an hour-long interactive session that will teach you how to build an academic plan that supports your personal goals. There will be many sessions held well before registration for the upcoming fall semester to accommodate sophomore students' schedules. Our goal is to show students the way to develop a full 4 year academic plan so that they can be confident about crossing the bridge to their junior and senior years at Chapman and beyond.

Targeted to Sophomores through Seniors to help develop academic plans of study to completion. To support students on the road to graduation this type of appointment will help with revising their 2 year plan and planning the students' last two years of their academic plan. Other important topics such as internships, professional student organizations, personal strengths and interests, leadership roles, professional portfolios, and Chapman resources will be discussed.

This type of appointment will help transfer students new to Chapman learn about the academic policies/procedures specific to transfers. Other important topics such as club involvement, internships and Chapman resources will be discussed.
