Graduation Information

Additional information will be emailed to graduating students throughout the spring semester, so please be sure to regularly check your Chapman email.

Graduation Banquet - Thursday, May 21, 6 p.m.

This event is for graduating JD students (LL.M. reception information forthcoming). Graduating JD students and their guests are invited to attend the 2020 Graduation Banquet, which will recognize the achievements of the graduating class of 2020.

Location: Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda CA 92866 (free parking is available)

Dress: Cocktail Attire

Admission: Free for graduating JD students, but RSVP is required

Guest Tickets: $65 through May 1; tickets are $80 thereafter

Fowler School of Law Degree Ceremony - Friday, May 22, 10 a.m.

The degree ceremony is a ticketless event and students may bring as many guests as they choose. The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes, immediately followed by a light reception. A live webcast of the degree ceremony will be streamed for those who cannot attend.
(Note that the ceremony will be held on the field, rain or shine.)

Location: Wilson Field

9 a.m.   Law Student Procession Lineup in Cap & Gown (Hutton Sports Center)

9:30 a.m.  Gates open for guests (Wilson Field)

10 a.m.   Law Student Procession Begins

10 - 11:15 a.m.   Dale E. Fowler School of Law Hooding and Ceremony (Wilson Field)  

11:30 a.m.   Law School Reception (Kennedy Hall)

Additional Degree Ceremony Information

Parking is available free of charge at all Chapman University parking lots and garages.

Students are encouraged to arrive early and ensure they bring all necessary items, especially regalia. Seating is first-come, first-served, and the program will start on-time.

University Commencement Ceremony - Friday, May 22, 7 p.m.

Attendance at this ceremony is optional.

Interested in carrying the law school banner (gonfalon) at this year's University Commencement Ceremony? Each school is represented at this event, which will be held the night of the law school degree ceremony.  Graduating students interested in participating should email Dean Vogt.
