» Student Event Support Request

The Fowler School of Engineering (FSE) offers support for student activities, including events organized by FSE’s student clubs, organizations, and societies. This support includes but is not limited to: room reservations for the Swenson Hall Ideation Zone, Sodexo food orders, and limited advertising support. Financial support is also available for select professional society memberships, supplies, guest speakers, and food/beverage.


The Event Support Request Form must be submitted a minimum of 10 business days prior to the event or activity. Requests submitted within 10 business days of the proposed event or activity will be denied and assistance will not be provided. Please allow a minimum of 10 business days for your request to be reviewed. The Fowler School of Engineering has the discretion to extend the review period timeline if needed. Expenses incurred prior to approval will not be reimbursed, especially if the request is denied. Use of the Ideation Zone for organized events or activities is prohibited without prior approval.

Mandatory Meeting Schedule:


A representative from each club, organization or society must attend THREE meetings per semester, total of SIX meetings per academic year, in order to be considered for event support from the Fowler School of Engineering.
