Lynne Anderson

Lynne graduated from University of Redlands in 1986 and had a successful career in Marketing and Retail before moving into insurance. She has spent the last 32 years working for GEICO in a variety of roles including all levels of Claims Handling before moving into management. Today, she serves GEICO and their customers as a Regional Liability Administrator. She is responsible for providing coverage, authority and oversight across all levels of Claims. This includes analysis and evaluation of injury claims, coverage matters, and litigation strategies. Lynne lives in the San Diego area with her husband Dean, who is an alumni of Chapman University. They met in high school, and have one daughter, Lauren, who attends Chapman University as a sophomore studying Health Science. Lynne enjoys traveling with her family and spending time on the Chapman University Orange campus as a parent volunteer.

Randy Delue

Randy is a graduate of San Diego State University and has over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness field. He was the owner of two health clubs, one in the San Francisco Bay Area and the other in San Diego. Randy holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist, and from the Arthritis Foundation as an aqua therapy coach. He maintains a membership in the International Health Racquet and Sports Association as he continues to stay abreast of current methodologies to attain optimal health. Randy’s passion for wellness has brought him to form a new company in 2018. He and his wife are the founders of Jai Fusion, a plant-based food company with an emphasis on international vegan cuisine. “We want the world to eat better and feel better!” Through diet and exercise, Randy believes, many of today’s common diseases can be curtailed.

Gina Gonchar

Gina graduated from Brandeis University in 1993. She had a successful career in marketing and public relations while living in New York City, specializing in economic development of cities and states. After starting a family with her husband, she shifted into nonprofit work and served as a coordinator of educational and recreational opportunities for thousands of inner city youth living in subsidized housing in the five boroughs of New York City. In 2001, she moved to the west coast with her family, launching a quiet career in residential interior design. She has three college bound children, one of whom is at Chapman University studying Psychology and Educational Studies. Gina and her husband live in the Seattle area with their dog. She enjoys time with family and friends, hiking, skiing and creating community.

Dr. Hassan Memarian

Dr. Memarian is a pioneer in the field of vacuum deposition and thin film technology with over 28 years of industrial experience. His early research work at UCLA in the 80’s included wear resistance coatings for turbine engines and industrial cutting tools. Dr. Memarian moved on to electronic industry where he worked for several Fortune 500 companies as Director of R&D and technology. Dr. Memarian has been directly responsible for introduction of several new products related to electronic devices such Kindle e-book reader, photovoltaics, touch screens and medical sensor devices for diabetics. He is an author and co-author of several US granted patents and technical publications. Dr. Memarian is currently semi-retired and works as a consultant. He lives in Los Angeles area with his wife and two adult children. Dr. Memarian enjoys his time with volunteering activities and civic responsibilities. His son, Amir Memarian, is a Health Sciences Major/ Psychology minor.

Dr. Marjan Motie

Dr. Marjan Motie is a research professional with a Ph.D. in biochemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago and over 25 subsequent years of clinical research experience in both pharmaceutical industry and academia. Skilled in study design and operation, scientific presentations, biotechnology, product development, and disease management, she has developed a wide range of expertise in various disease prevention and treatment methodologies with emphasis on nutrition and healthy lifestyle. Her most recent role as the project director at UCI was to conduct research that focused on dietary and nutritional aspects that impact physical and psychological wellbeing and clinical outcomes in overweight and obese patients with heart failure. She was just appointed as the Chief Scientific Officer for Hope for Dementia USA (a non-profit charitable organization) and working towards increasing awareness, providing educational services within the communities, and funding research and development efforts in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dementia related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and other cognitive disorders. Marjan lives in Orange County with her husband, Majid who is a professor of computer science at UCLA, and they have one daughter, Bita, who is a freshman at Chapman University studying psychology.
