Tuition Merit-Based Scholarships

The Fowler School of Law provides a generous merit-based scholarship program based on undergraduate cumulative GPA and LSAT score to assist with the cost of legal education. By seeking to meet the financial needs of as many students as possible, we enable our students to graduate with relatively low levels of indebtedness.

Our tuition merit-based scholarships can be renewed provided students have a cumulative 2.900 at the end of each spring semester.

First Generation Scholarship

First Generation scholarships are awarded to up to one or more students entering each Fall in an amount up to $20,000 and can be renewed provided a student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.900 or higher at the end of the first academic year and each subsequent academic year thereafter. To be eligible for the First Generation Scholarship, applicants must complete a First Generation Scholarship application and be the first member of their immediate family to earn an undergraduate degree and be admitted to Fowler School of Law. When selecting recipient(s), applicants with a demonstrated commitment and/or history of service to legally underserved communities or populations will be given priority. For full-time students, the scholarship is limited to three years and for part-time students, the scholarship is limited to four years. Applications are made available to admitted students typically in March.
