The Spanish department here at Chapman University is dedicated to instructing students to be both culturally and linguistically competent citizens in our multicultural and multilingual world. Classrooms are kept small, and the emphasis is on participation and communication. Spanish is widely spoken in California as well as throughout the U.S.; learning to be fluent in Spanish can expand career options in nearly every field of employment.
