ยป Voluntary Flexible Work Arrangements

National surveys indicate that employees place a high value on flexibility in the workplace, and that is true at Chapman too.  We are pleased that the University has adopted voluntary flexible work practices for Staff and Administrators.

Each of us contributes  to providing an excellent Chapman Experience to our faculty, staff and students, and that requires a strong Staff and Administrator on-campus presence. However there are many situations where we can successfully balance the goal of enhanced personal control over work time while also providing the optimal customer experience, and Chapman is supportive of flexible work arrangements where feasible. 

While every job is different, we’ve developed a policy which provides a framework for requesting and evaluating employee-initiated requests for flexible work arrangements at Chapman.
