The Chapman Commencement weekend will be one you’ll remember for years to come. Graduates in all Attallah College academic programs (undergraduate and graduate) are invited to participate in Chapman University's Commencement weekend events.

+ - Interfaith Baccalaureate Service

The Chapman University Baccalaureate service features a deeply inspirational message for all graduates, whether secular, spiritual or religious, honoring each graduate’s search for meaning. Past speakers have included actors Rainn Wilson, Amber Tamblyn, and Max Greenfield; singers Andy Grammer and David Archuleta; and acclaimed interfaith speaker Valarie Kaur.

Graduating students are all invited, along with their families and Chapman students, faculty, and staff.

+ - University Commencement Ceremony

All Chapman graduating students are invited to join together on Wilson Field for our University Commencement Ceremony.

The Commencement Ceremony will honor your achievements and celebrate the work you’ve done in your time at Chapman University and Attallah College. Although graduates will not walk across the stage at this ceremony, they will still wear caps and gowns for the official conferral of their degree.

Graduating students may reserve up to four (4) guest tickets for the University Commencement Ceremony. The Commencement RSVP site will go live on March 1, 2020.

How many people can I bring to the University Commencement Ceremony? Attallah College Degree Ceremony?

Tickets are not required for students for Chapman's University Commencement Ceremony. Graduating students who RSVP for the University Commencement Ceremony by the deadline will be allotted four (4) tickets for guests. Two extra tickets can be requested, but are not guaranteed.

The Attallah College Degree Ceremony is free and open to all guests and family of graduating students. Guest tickets are not required for the ceremony, and there is no limit on how many guests you may invite. Please note that seating is first come, first served. Seating is in folding chairs on artificial turf. Once the ceremony begins, empty seats must be made available to accommodate guests without seats.

Do I have to attend the University Commencement Ceremony?

We strongly encourage all graduating students to attend the University Commencement Ceremony.

Where should I park?

Parking will be free in all designated parking structures and lots, and curbside permits are not required on local streets during Commencement Weekend. We encourage everyone to use public transportation or Uber/Lyft during Commencement Weekend. If you do drive in, know that parking restrictions are lifted in the surrounding neighborhoods.
